Have you ever attended any cake shows? In this video, I’m taking you with me to Miami, Florida to visit SoFlo Cake and Candy Expo 2022 and show you all my favorite vendors and products I found over the weekend.
I arrived Friday early morning to work on an installation for the American Cake Decorating Magazine booth and create a wafer paper tropical wall (watch it here).
Saturday we worked with Liz Marek on the showpiece for the Sugar Geek Show booth and this collaboration with amazing artists blew my mind! I’ve made wafer paper mushrooms, crinoline tulle for the dress, and edible moss.
That night we got a chance to dress up and get fancy for ourselves and our peers for the American Cake Awards 2020 Ceremony.

And on Sunday I taught how to work with wafer paper and create wafer paper orchids for the Saracino booth.
The whole weekend was packed with demos, classes, and hugs with friends!
I was lucky to meet so many of my subscribers and share my love for wafer paper.
