Does this sound like you?
Both of these are my cakes. Same tools. Different flowers.
I’ll show you exactly how I make them.
Here’s what I figured out.
I started my baking business when I moved to Florida in 2014.
I tried every flower medium. Gumpaste, buttercream, bean paste, isomalt… You name it. They all took hours to make and still failed in the humidity.
Then I taught myself how to make flowers and decorations using wafer paper.
It changed everything.
Every flower I make is different from anyone else’s.
I don’t have to copy Pinterest cakes. I can just make my flowers, and it will look unique.
That was the moment I stopped feeling like an imposter.
I stopped copying. I started making cakes that were mine.
Over 700 cake designers have taken this course.

Wafer paper flowers are beautiful so I decided to learn how to make them: I have explored a lot of tutorials on YouTube and found that Anna’s tutorials are the best. I learned a lot. For more complex flowers I’ve attended her Peony course and I liked it! Anna is a good teacher, everything explained very well and even if you are a beginner you will be able to make a beautiful flower. I can recommend it to everyone.
I always found it very frustrating to working with wafer paper but after learning from Anna I have a change of mind and a change of attitude towards wafer paper. I love the calmness and patience with which Anna teaches online courses and even, your free tutorial. Before I bought a course I went on youtube to check if Anna was someone I could learn from and just after one video I was certain, I fell in love with the patience with which she teaches.

I started playing around with wafer paper several years ago. I had been so frustrated with the overall look of my wafer paper flowers — and how mechanical they looked. But Anna opened up a world of botanically correct, lifelike flowers, and gave me the confidence and skills to continue experimenting with wafer paper on my own. Anna breaks down the steps meticulously and also conveys clearly what NOT to do. This is so valuable because wafer paper is a finicky medium and there’s a lot of troubleshooting that you’ll need to do along the way.
