How to make “dried” edible flowers for cake decorating?
In this tutorial, you will learn how to make Money plant or Lunaria using wafer paper.
Typically known as Lunaria or silver dollar plants, these iridescent “leaves” are actually the seed pods from the plant known as Lunaria annua.
These “dried” plants are beautiful filler components for any arrangement.
You will need:
- Wafer Paper (I use 0.27mm, but any thin wafer paper would work, especially if you have any dry or scrap pieces)
– Regular Wafer Paper
– Premium Wafer Paper
– Saracino Wafer Paper - 1 inch rolling pin
- 26 gauge white wire
- Edible food marker in Brown
- Peral dust
- Any decorations you want to add
These are very versatile decorations and great filler flowers to add to your arrangement.
