You will need:
· AD-O wafer paper (thin)
· Scissors
· Pencil
· Piping gel
· Paintbrush
· Toothpick
· Haribo berry candy
How to:
1. Place the wafer paper on top of the template (see next page) and trace out five small petals and four large petals. Using scissors, cut out each petal. Then cut a slit into the base of each petal to approximately third way up the petal.
2. Next create the flower center by sticking Haribo berry candy right on top of the toothpick. Make sure that toothpick is going in almost to the top of the berry.
3. Starting with five small petals, place them upside down (rough side up) and apply a small amount of piping gel to the bottom half of all petals where the slit is cut.
4. Cup each petal by folding the right side of the slit over the left. Press gently together to secure.
5. To assemble the first layer, pierce one petal at the time with the toothpick and pull it up, securing to the berry with a small amount of piping gel. Continue with other petals, creating a five-petal flower.
6. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for the four large petals, placing them just outside of already placed petals until your flower is full and complete.
